Step into the genuine cockpit of a retired British Airways Boeing 747-400 near Tattenhall, Cheshire. 744 Experience is an advanced, fully immersive fixed base flight simulator and Upper Deck experience, built from original aircraft and open to the public.

The 744 Experience cockpit contains no replicas, no reproductions and no shortcuts. Every switch, instrument and system is original British Airways equipment from a retired Boeing 747-400, preserved in full working order. Three years of planning and restoration went into making this the most authentic 747 flight simulator experience accessible to the public in the UK. If you flew on these aircraft, worked on them, or have always wanted to sit in the left-hand seat, this is as real as it gets.

How Much Does a 747 Simulator Experience Cost?

We call 744 Experience the UK's most authentic 747 flight simulator experience because nothing here is a replica. The flight deck is original, the Upper Deck cabin is original, and both sections came from real aircraft that flew passengers for over two decades. Every booking includes an experienced instructor beside you and up to three non-flying guests at no extra cost.

Short Haul flights start from £279 for 90 minutes, or £379 for 150 minutes. Long Haul sessions are available on request.

Book Your Flight Simulator Experience

Choose a 90 or 150 minute Short Haul flight and you will fly a route of your choosing, with the weather and time of day set however you like it. An experienced instructor flies alongside you throughout, so no previous flying experience is needed. Up to three non-flying guests are included free with every booking.

Long Haul sessions, private hire and corporate bookings are available on request.
