Before You Arrive
Arrive 15 minutes before your session. That gives us time to welcome you properly and get you settled before the briefing.
The minimum age is 12.
Bring a camera. Photography and filming are welcome throughout, in the cockpit and in the cabin. We would love to see what you post.
Bringing Guests
Up to three non-flying guests are included free with every booking.
Your guests are not left waiting in a corridor. They spend the session in the Upper Deck Business Class cabin, in the original Club World seats. There is also a single viewing seat in the flight deck itself, so one guest at a time can sit in the cockpit and watch you fly.

Make the Most of Your Visit
We are in a good part of the country for it. Within a few miles of Back Lane you have a castle on a crag, one of the finest Roman cities in Britain, and a fair amount in between, so it is worth building a day or a weekend around your flight.
A ruined 13th century fortress on a sandstone crag just up the road, with views reaching the Pennines in one direction and the Welsh hills in the other. English Heritage run it.
A Cheshire brewery producing cask ales a short drive away near Tarporley, and a decent stop for anyone who has just spent two hours not being able to have a drink.
In Tattenhall itself, and near impossible to drive past with children in the car. Ice cream made on site, play barns and a small farm to walk round.
Half an hour away and worth a full day. The most complete city walls in Britain, the largest Roman amphitheatre uncovered in the country, the medieval Rows, and a very good run of restaurants.
The long-distance path runs along the Peckforton Hills on our doorstep. You needn't walk all of it. The stretch past Beeston is a good few hours and some of the best walking in Cheshire.
One of the largest zoos in the UK and among the most visited attractions in the country outside London. A full day in itself rather than an afternoon.

The recommended minimum age is 12 years, although this is more of a guideline than a strict rule. What matters more is the child. A session lasts at least ninety minutes in a real flight deck. If your child is younger and you think they would love it, call us before you book and we will work out together whether it is right for them.
