Here at 744 Experience we are privileged to have been given the opportunity to preserve two significant parts of two iconic aircraft.
Following the announcement of the retirement of the British Airways 747-400 fleet in July 2020, and after many years of travelling on-board as passengers, we were inspired to preserve some of the history of this iconic aircraft and to bring key sections back to life.
In December 2020 our vision was realised and in July 2021, two large sections were transported to their new home near Tattenhall, Cheshire, UK.
Complete with her original instruments and avionics, the cockpit from G-CIVM lives on as a fully operational fixed base Boeing 747-400 flight simulator and procedures trainer.
